Qvit is designed to be privacy-first. The personal recovery information you enter into the App — including your selected habits, streaks, journal entries, assessment answers, and future-self messages — is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or contact information through the App unless you choose to contact us directly for support.
2. Subscriptions and Purchases
Qvit offers auto-renewable subscriptions processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information. Purchase and subscription status is managed by Apple in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy.
3. Notifications
With your permission, the App may send you local push notifications such as reminders and milestone alerts. These notifications are generated on your device. You can disable them at any time in your device's Settings.
4. Analytics and Third Parties
The App may use Apple's standard, privacy-preserving services (such as StoreKit for purchases and the App Store). We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.
5. Data Security
Because your recovery data is stored locally on your device, it is protected by your device's own security features. We recommend using a device passcode and keeping your operating system up to date. You can permanently erase all of your data at any time using the "Reset Data" option inside the App.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
7. Your Rights
Since your data is stored on your device, you remain in full control of it at all times. You may view, edit, export, or permanently delete your data directly within the App.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
